Terms & Conditions

 

By renting a garment or accessory from Outfit of the Day, I hereby accept and agree to the following terms and conditions outlined below: 


Orders can be placed in person at our Tanawha studio or online at www.outfitofthedaysc.com.au (http://www.outfitofthedaysc.com.au/).  \

Orders are only confirmed once payment is received in full. 
We recommend, where possible, customers plan ahead.  We accept orders up to 6 months in advance. 
Our Standard rental periods are 4 or 7 days, for extended rental periods please enquire via the Contact us Page. 

Orders will only be packed and posted on Weekdays. 
All postage orders are shipped via Australia Post in an Express Post Satchel, with a prepaid return satchel included. 

Tracking information for postage orders will be provided once order has been packed and posted
 


Cleaning 

 

All Garment cleaning fees are covered in the rental fee.

As part of the rental agreement, customers agree not to attempt to clean the dress themselves. In the event that a customer does attempt to clean the dress and it results in permanent damage, additional costs may be incurred.

 

Immediately notify Outfit of the Day of any damage that occurs to the garment during the hire period.  Any rips, tears or damage will result in an extra charge to cover the cost of repair. 
 If a garment is considered beyond repair,  Customer will be charged full RRP to replace the item. 

 


 ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE PROTECTION

 

Accidental Damage Protection - Because Sometimes Accidents happen.

If major staining, tears or other damage is caused to a garment by you, you may be liable for repair or replacement fees up to a maximum of 100% of the items original RRP.

Minor issues are usually overlooked, but occasionally damage caused by a customer can't be repaired or cleaned to a level that it could ever be rented again.

Selecting Accidental Damage Protection today will cover you for repair costs and/or extra cleaning fees up to a maximum of $500 per order.

If a garment is damaged beyond repair and the replacement cost is greater than $500, you may still be liable for the remainder.

 

Accidental Damage Protection does not cover:

  • Loss or theft of items
  • Returns which are lost in transit (though you are protected if there is evidence that the package was lodged/scanned at any point)
  • Non-clothing items, such as bags, headwear, belts, accessories and jewellery
  • Damage that has been caused deliberately, or where extreme recklessness or carelessness is evident

 

 


Cancellations and Refund Eligibility

 

I understand and agree to the refund eligibility policy, including the cancellation fees and Online Gift Card terms outlined by Outfit of the Day. 
 
Bookings cancelled 14 days prior to the rental start date, will be entitled to a full refund, including any postage fees paid. 

Bookings Cancelled less than 14 days prior to the rental start date, will be entitled to a Online Gift Card (with 6 Month expiry) for the value of the rental fee and any postage fees paid LESS a cancellation fee of $25. 

Once a Booking has been posted (usually 1-3 days prior to rental start date, but up to 7 days – depending on your location) It cannot be cancelled. 

If your item does not fit, you can return it for a Online Gift Card (with 6 Month expiry) for the value of the rental fee, LESS all postage fees. You must contact Outfit of the Day and post back the item within 24 hours of the package being delivered.
 
 We do not refund for change of mind, cancellation of your event or fit of garment. 
 
All garment sizes (as per the garment size tag and conversion to Australian sizing by designers) has been included in the product description, including any body measurements as per the designer's websites.  Please ask any sizing questions prior to booking.
 

 

Rental Returns
All in person rentals are to be returned to our Tanawha studio before 4pm on the rental return date.  Postage orders are to be returned in the provided prepaid return satchel on the rental return date by 4pm over the counter at any Australia Post office, Or Yellow Express Post Box. 
 If your Postage orders rental return date is a public holiday or weekend, it is to be returned on the next business day. 

Please notify Outfit of the Day immediately if any delay in return occurs or is expected.
 
Failure to return garments on rental return date will incur a late fee of $20 on a per day basis.  The daily charge will continue until the garment is returned. 
 
All items are professionally cleaned and repaired prior to bookings, I acknowledge and accept the possibility of minor imperfections and the condition of hired items due to previous use. 
 
 Your Personal information will be handled in accordance with privacy principles. 

 

 

 

 

 

Ex–Rental Sales


Please choose carefully.
Outfit of the Day does not offer refunds on ex-rental purchased items.
We can accept an exchange or Credit Note in the form of a online  Gift Card (with 6 month expiry) for goods sold as long as goods are returned to;

The item must be returned in its original condition including packaging. 

Outfit of the Day reserves the right to deny a return if any item are returned used, soiled, worn or damaged in any way - these will be returned to the sender.
You will be notified if your item is not suitable for the exchange/Credit.
The cost of return shipping is at the customer’s expense and is non-refundable.
We recommend sending items through traceable mail.
 
There are strictly no returns or exchanges on any items purchased at Outfit of the Day’s Tanawha location.
