If major staining, tears or other damage is caused to a garment by you, you may be liable for repair or replacement fees up to a maximum of 120% of the items original RRP.

Minor issues are usually overlooked, but occasionally damage caused can't be repaired or cleaned to a level that it could ever be rented again.

Selecting Accidental Damage Protection today will cover you for repair costs and/or extra cleaning fees up to a maximum of $200 per order.

If a garment is damaged beyond repair and the replacement cost is greater than $200, you may still be liable for the remainder.

Accidental Damage Protection does not cover:

  • Loss or theft of items
  • Returns which are lost in transit (though you are protected if there is evidence that the package was lodged/scanned at any point)
  • Non-clothing items, such as bags, headwear, belts, accessories and jewellery
  • Damage that has been caused deliberately, or where extreme recklessness or carelessness is evident
